The police are approaching sex clinics, and blood testing centres to solve the Nehru Nagar serial rape-murder case. The police are also approaching tantriks in their investigation.

The accused could have sexual problems and he might have approached these places, said the police.

The police have approached the clinics and hospitals in the city and are examining lists of patients with sexual problems who have visited the hospitals in the last six months.

The men are then questioned. “We are working on all possible angles,” said senior police inspector R. Choudhari of V B Nagar police station.

The police are also questioning tantriks. According to the police, the tantriks and quacks usually give some insane advices to their patients who come to them with their sex-related problems.

In another interesting development the investigators have again gone back to the first case in which the body of minor girl was found on the terrace of a building in Nehru Nagar in February.

"During the investigation (soon after the body was found), the police were lenient and casual in their investigation," said Afzal Usmani secretary of Chembur Sri Sai Sharaddha CHS, the building where the body was found.

Deputy Commissioner of police (zone VI) Dilip Sawant refused the allegation.
