Four-year-old raped in Mumbai; one arrested
A four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a 22-year-old youth in suburban Oshiwara in Mumbai, police said today.

A four-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a 22-year-old youth in suburban Oshiwara in Mumbai, police said on Monday.
The accused, Salman Hafeez, who was arrested on Monday, kidnapped the child on Sunday from near her Oshiwara residence and took her to an isolated area where he raped her, police said.
The child was later rescued and rushed to Cooper hospital here where she is said to be in a critical condition.
On August 22, a 23-year-old photojournalist was gangraped by five men at the defunct Shakti Mills compound in Parel area in Mumbai, when she had gone there for on assignment with a male colleague.
