Ahuja's lawyer Shrikant Shivade sought for copies of the forensic reports of the actor and the victim, on which the prosecution is relying upon in the trial against the actor.

"While the victim's DNA report is positive and some male DNA is found, Ahuja's DNA report is negative. I would need to peruse the forensic lab reports to argue my case," Shivade said.

"One of vaginal swabs of the victim is missing and the DNA report of the actor and victim can be tampered by the police," Shivade alleged.

Ahuja, who is lodged at the Arthur Road prison in central Mumbai, was arrested on June 15 for allegedly raping his domestic maid at his residence in suburban Oshiwara.

The actor has approached the Bombay High Court seeking bail after the sessions court rejected his bail on September 11 after observing that there was prima facie case against him.
