"I am not directly or indirectly connected with Adarsh. There are 350 members of the BJP National Executive. How am I concerned with if some of them get flats in the building? I have no proxy," Gadkari said.

He said an enquiry can take place to probe all links.

Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari, who alleged that Gadkari owns a benami flat in the building, has been served a legal notice by the BJP president.

"When the Congress is embarrassed by our uncomfortable questions on corruption, it makes personal allegations like these," Gadkari said.

Allegations against Gadkari were made after reports said that the son and the driver of Ajay Sancheti, a close associate of Gadkari and a BJP National executive member, own flats in the Adarsh building.
