Injured at BSES, Cooper

On Sunday, three of the eight injured persons admitted at two city hospitals after two trains collided on late Saturday night were recuperating at Cooper Hospital, Juhu and BSES Hospital at Andheri.

On Sunday, three of the eight injured persons admitted at two city hospitals after two trains collided on late Saturday night were recuperating at Cooper Hospital, Juhu and BSES Hospital at Andheri.

Doctors confirmed there were no casualties and five who had sustained minor injuries had been discharged.“We have discharged five of the six patients,” said Dr Rajesh Rathi, casualty medical officer, BSES Hospital.

Salim Khan, 21, who sustained three fractures on his right rib, was the sole patient at BSES Hospital. “I hit myself on the rod near the door,” said Khan.

At Cooper hospital, patients Manimaya Subramanium, 45 and Sheikh Rakul Islam, 21 were under observation in the ICU, but are likely to get discharged in two-three days. HTC
