The application, filed by Abdul Qayyum, Feroz Khan, Tahir Merchant, Mustafa Dosa and Karimullah Khan, stated they are being threatened ever since Karimullah filed an application regarding seizure of 42 mobile phones and money on October 11 from the jail premises.

According to the application, the accused were not allowed to enter the jail together when they were returning from court on Monday, and were thoroughly frisked one at a time.

The application alleged a woman officer did not let Feroz, who has diabetes, go to the bathroom and made him wait for 45 minutes till all others were frisked. A senior jailor later accused Feroz of abusing the woman officer and threatening her, it further said.

The application alleged the jail authorities were trying to provoke the undertrials so that false cases can be registered against them.
