Jundal to be arrested in another case

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative and key 26/11 handler Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal will be arrested in a third case – planning an attack on the Nashik police academy.

The anti-terrorism squad (ATS) produced Jundal before the special MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) court on Monday and asked that he be sent to judicial custody for the 2006 Aurangabad arms haul case. He is likely to be arrested in the Pune German bakery blast case as well.

The court remanded him in judicial custody till September 24. When asked if he wanted to engage an advocate, Jundal said he would appoint one after he met his parents.
