Karnataka MLA detained at city airport
The Sahar Airport police detained Karnataka MLA Santosh Lad and will hand him over to the Delhi police on Thursday after immigration officials at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport nabbed him. HT Correspondent reports.

The Sahar Airport police detained Karnataka MLA Santosh Lad and will hand him over to the Delhi police on Thursday after immigration officials at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport nabbed him.
Lad, who was wanted by the Delhi police, was on his way to Dubai when he was detained after a look out circular against him was issued by the Delhi police.
Lad, who represents the Kalaghatgi constituency in Dharwad district, belongs to Congress. He was wanted by the Delhi police in connection with a cheating case.
Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police (West region) said the Delhi police were informed about Lad’s detention.
“We will hand Lad over to the Delhi police team shortly who are investigating the cheating case,” said Gupta.
