Lalbaug flyover contractor will be punished: Chavan

Chief minister Prithviraj Chavan has taken a serious note of the appearance of a huge pothole on the newly built Lalbaug flyover, which he had inaugurated on June 7.

Chief minister Prithviraj Chavan has taken a serious note of the appearance of a huge pothole on the newly built Lalbaug flyover, which he had inaugurated on June 7. The CM said that he would ask the authorities concerned to take action against the contractor who built the 2.4 km-long flyover.

“I’m surprised to know that there are potholes on the flyover which was declared open a week ago,” said Chavan. MMRDA spokesperson Dilip Kawathkar said that the flyover was repaired on Tuesday.
