After being flooded with calls from fans seeking to speak to actress Kareena Kapoor, Prasad Doke (24) is now contemplating suing the producer of the film Milenge Milenge for using his number in the film.

On Monday, Hindustan Times had reported how the Thane computer engineer received more than 150 calls in four days after a scene in the film displays Doke’s cellphone number as Kareena’s in the film.
Doke complained that some of the callers abused him and used foul language for not putting them through to the actress.
“The filmmakers haven’t bothered to give an explanation for using my number or even apologise for causing so much trouble. The calls haven’t stopped and everyone in my family is frustrated. I have stopped taking calls unless it is from a number I recognise,” Doke said. And this is affecting his business of repairing and assembling computers.
“The only option is to sue the producer for mental harassment. They will have to reply in court why the number was not checked before using in the film. This is violation of privacy. I have contacted my lawyer and will soon take a decision,” Doke said.
The Wagale Estate police have registered an NC. Senior Police Inspector S.G. Jawle said, “We have registered an NC and can’t do anything else in the matter. Let him go to court and if the court directs us to take action we will do so.”
