On Tuesday, Kadam and his 60 party workers allegedly created a ruckus in a polling booth at Sarvodaya School alleging the polling procedure at the booth to be faulty.

However, the Ghatkopar police had said that Kadam and his supporters were confused when the faulty EVM machines were replaced with a new one and in the ensuing melee Kadam allegedly slapped a police officer.

Kadam had approached the sessions court after the Vikhroli court earlier rejected his bail plea saying that his release could cause law and order problems.

However, Kadam withdrew his bail application from the sessions court on Friday, after it was told that his bail application would be heard after Diwali vacation.
