The last day of Mood-I, IIT-Bombay’s annual cultural festival, saw a sprinkling of Bollywood stardust with actor Shahid Kapoor and musicians Shankar Ehsaan and Loy rocking the crowds.

The four-day annual fest had a footfall of 60,000 people making it the largest cultural festival in Asia.
On Thursday, the brightest minds of the country converged to interact with the Kaminey-star, Shahid Kapoor.
As a part of the international music festival, Moriarty, a French band, performed to a packed crowd. Moriarty was part of Mood-I collaboration with Bonjour India — Celebrating France in India.
The festival also had a unique calligraphy workshop, Callifest, conducted by calligraphy artist Achyut Palav.
“The best event of the day was the dancing with the stars finals where over 15 groups showcased their talents. It was gripping,” said Kashyap Barai, an IIT-B student. Over 15,000 people gathered for the Shankar Ehsaan and Loy concert.
“This year Mood-I as a brand has grown leaps and bounds but it has still retained the spirit of a college festival.
These have been the best four days of my life,” said Aditya Gandhi, media manager for Mood-I.
As the sun set on the festival, students were sad that the next day, the campus would be back to its silent self.
The pirates, the logo of the fest, would be gone, and so would the food stalls and music. But for the students there would be a new set of friends.
“You meet so many people from different backgrounds and cities and we exchange e-mails and actually keep in touch,” said Reena Shah, a participant from Delhi.
