Mumbai: hearing-impaired girl molested by principal

A 13-year-old hearing-and-speech-impaired girl was allegedly molested by the principal and a teacher of her school in Mumbai, reports said.

According to the reports, Dadar Police arrested the principal and teacher, who allegedly molested the girl in the school premises, on Wednesday.

They have been remanded to police custody till the July 7.

The girl has alleged that she was molested on numerous occasions and has also said that the principal used to call her in his cabin and show her obscene pictures, reports said.

She told her parents about the incident in May and they filed a complaint on Tuesday, they added.

Police are investigating the case and also verifying allegations that other students were also molested by the arrested men.
