Students said question number two, worth 15 marks, had important components missing and the correction was made more than 45 minutes after the exam started.

“There was an error in question two. Crucial numbers, without which the problem couldn’t be solved, were missing. I somehow managed to derive an answer, which obviously was wrong. The correction was announced later. I ended up missing out on the last question owing to this error,” said a student from a college in Matunga.

Sangeeta Makkad, BMM coordinator at Lala Lajpat Rai College, said that while there were some errors, the university tried to inform all colleges in time about the corrections.

Some students, however, claimed that no correction was issued for the wrong question to them.

“I saw a few errors in the paper right at the beginning and I thought someone might correct it, however we did not receive any such correction. I am going to lose out on 15 marks due to this, “said a BMM student who took the exam at a centre in Kandivali.
