Metropolitan magistrate S.B. Gaydhani, who had earlier refused to give the police permission to conduct the narco-analysis tests, gave them the go-ahead on Wednesday after Ajmeri himself volunteered to undergo the test.
The police have already conducted polygraph and brain-mapping tests on Ajmeri. However, the results were inconclusive.

All three tests are conducted to verify if the accused has been telling the truth and get more clues in the case, if possible. Ajmeri’s lawyer Prakash Wagh will be present with his client during the test. The court granted Ajmeri bail on June 7 due to lack of evidence connecting him to the crime, but he is still in jail as he has not been able to shell out Rs 10,000 as surety.
