No new leads in Kalachowkie thefts

The Kalachowkie police are still trying to trace the accused who broke into four houses in building no 8 of Sriram Society in the early hours of Friday morning. The accused made away with cash and valuables worth Rs 5.78 lakh.

The Kalachowkie police are still trying to trace the accused who broke into four houses in building no 8 of Sriram Society in the early hours of Friday morning. The accused made away with cash and valuables worth Rs 5.78 lakh.

"We are checking with our informants and are questioning the history-sheeters to see if they are involved or whether they can give us any important information," said Sunil Jain, senior inspector, Kalachowkie police station.

According to the police, the occupants of all four houses were away when the incident took place.
