“No, I am not going to Pakistan. I heard of my supposed trip only after reading the newspaper,” said the actor, after it was suggested that he would visit the country to sort out the matter.

Pakistan’s media watchdog authority allegedly banned the trailer as it mentions one of the country’s three major intelligence services, the ISI.

However, the filmmakers insist that the country has not been shown in bad light. “The film is simply a love story between Salman and Katrina (Kaif),” said Rafiq Gangjee, vice-president, marketing and communications of Yash Raj Films.

The filmmakers are waiting for an NOC from Pakistan’s censor board before they start airing other promos of the film.

When asked whether he would visit Pakistan if required, Khan said, “If the situation demands it, I will definitely go. As of now, I have no such plans.”
