Fire of f icers said bodies of six persons were found on Friday. Among them, three bodies, identified as Sumit Vakhatka rand Nan dan Vakhatkar, were found, along with Sumit’s wife Snehal Vakhatkar’s.
The fire officers said they could be the owners of the chemical firm but added that Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation will confirm the owners of the company soon.
A fire officer said ,“The owners of Probace Enterprise might have been killed in the blast. We have sent the bodies for post-mortem. The MI DC report will confirm the actual owners. We are at the spot with four fire engines so that if there are any more explosions, help could reach promptly.”
Around 70 people have been admitted since Thursday.
Kalyan resident Sonal Kamble, who was found searching her husband at the blast site, said, “The police have no clue about anything. Around 15 members of my family are carrying photographs of my husband ( Sushant Kamble) to find him. My husband had joined Probace on May 1. He was very happy because he was handsomely paid. We checked all hospitals but there is no trace of him.”
