Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray has alleged on Saturday that Patel insisted on having the new airport near Panvel because of his personal interests. State finance minister Sunil Tatkare told media on Sunday that the Airport Authority of India had selected the site. "Thackeray’s allegations are baseless."
