From April 1, however, the charges will be scaled down to Rs. 274 for domestic travel and Rs548 for a foreign trip up to March 2014.

This user development fee will be part of the ticket cost. This charge is in addition to the airport development fee of Rs.100 and Rs. 600, on domestic and international travel respectively, that airlines already charge.
