Police raid bar in Grant Road
Acting on a tip-off, the social service branch (SSB) of Mumbai Police and the DB Marg police station raided a bar in Grant Road on Saturday night at 8pm on the claim that "obscene activities" were taking place at the bar.

Acting on a tip-off, the social service branch (SSB) of Mumbai Police and the DB Marg police station raided a bar in Grant Road on Saturday night at 8pm on the claim that "obscene activities" were taking place at the bar.
The police have arrested bar owner Suresh Shetty, bar manager Harish Amin, Chandrashekar Mogavira, the cashier and Jaya Amin, a disk jockey, for allegedly allowing bar girls and customers to indulge in obscenity.
ACP Vasant Dhoble confirmed the raid.
The police seized Rs. 1.33 lakh in cash, the DJ's equipment, computers, amplifiers, CDs and documents from the venue.
