The train has special exhibits such as photographs and articles on the life and philosophy of Vivekananda.

However, as the train set out in January across the country, it has been shamefully defaced both inside and outside. Railway officials have condemned the vandalism.

“We have placed RPF personnel on the train. As the train is touring the country, the defacement may have happened elsewhere,” said AK Singh, spokesperson, Central Railway.

Ever since the train arrived at CST on August 12, 3,000 people have visited it. This special exhibition train has air-conditioned coaches with the special exhibits.

It will leave CST on August 14.
