MPCC chief Manikrao Thakre said Rane called off the July 9 agitation in Konkan after directions from the the central leadership.
"Besides, some of his important demands have been accepted by the Railway ministry," he said. However, he did not clarify which demands have been accepted.
Rane had announced to block rail traffic in Konkan region demanding trains from Mumbai to Sawantwadi, railway terminus at Sawantwadi and overbridges in Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Raigad districts.
