Robbery in Ghatkopar flat

The owner of a cloth shop was robbed of cash and jewellery worth Rs1.25 lakh at Ghatkopar (West) on Tuesday.

When 35-year-old Pawan Garg returned home from his shop, he found the lock on his cupboard broken. Cash and jewellery were missing. He found that the toilet window had been detached. The police suspect that the glass window was removed to mislead them into thinking that the accused had entered the house by climbing up the toilet pipe. “We will question domestic helps,” said police sub-inspector Vikram Bansode.
