Salman Khan case: Record statements of additional witnesses, court to prosecution

The court was hearing the application filed by the prosecution seeking permission to examine three more witnesses whose statements are not recorded.

The sessions court on Saturday asked the prosecution to record the statements of witnesses, whom they want to examine in the Salman Khan hit-and-run case. The court said it will consider prosecution’s application only after the perusal of the statements.

The court was hearing the application filed by the prosecution seeking permission to examine three more witnesses whose statements are not recorded.

According to the prosecution, Khan has also been charged for driving without a valid licence and to prove the charge, the RTO inspector needs to be examined. Further, the prosecution also wants to examine the constable who carried the blood samples from the hospital to the office of the chemical analyser.
