The exhibition has been put together by Partho Bhowmick through workshops he held with visually challenged participants and has been on display starting from Sunday at the Soul Gallery at Worli.

"When I started working with them I found they had images but no way of expressing this," said Bhowmick.

"I wanted to help them strategise with their thinking."

The Joy Of Giving Week, which began on October 2 and will last until October 8, is back this year for the third time, and participants can throw themselves into a range of philanthropic activities.

Events include a Mumbai darshan for tribal children from Gujarat, and non-profit group Akanksha's project of underprivileged children working with sculptor Arzan Khambata on a large-scale installation.

Mumbai will hold 62 events this year (number registered as of Wednesday), compared to 34 at the same time last year. These include volunteering, donation drives and other events.
