Seven-year-old girl sexually assaulted by stepfather
The Malwani police are on the lookout for a 20-year-old man who allegedly had unnatural sex with his seven-year-old stepdaughter.
The Malwani police are on the lookout for a 20-year-old man who allegedly had unnatural sex with his seven-year-old stepdaughter.
The accused, Guddu Shaikh, employed as an estate agent, married the victim’s mother a year ago, said the police.
The victim’s mother was away between January 28 and 29, which is when Shaikh allegedly had unnatural sex with the girl and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident.
When the victim’s mother returned, she confided in her, after which they approached
the Malwani police, who registered a case of unnatural sex against Shaikh.
The police suspect that Shaikh has fled to his native place. “We have certain leads about Shaikh’s location and we should be able to arrest him soon,” said Abdulrauf Shaikh, senior inspector, Malwani police station.
