Sources in the crime branch said they had completed most of the paperwork against Jundal, which includes his confessional statement. They have also recorded statements of witnesses who attest to Jundal's involvement in terror activities in Maharashtra since 2005-06.
The crime branch is now waiting for Jundal's voice sample, which is currently being matched at the forensic science laboratory. This is expected to be a key piece of evidence in the case.
Jundal has claimed he was the only Indian LeT operative in the control room at Karachi during the November 2008 terror attacks.
