Two officials arrested for metro mishap
The site engineer and supervisor of the metro construction site at Marol in Andheri, where a staircase collapse led to the death of one and injured 16 on Tuesday, were arrested on Thursday, HT reports.

The site engineer and supervisor of the metro construction site at Marol in Andheri, where a staircase collapse led to the death of one and injured 16 on Tuesday, were arrested on Thursday.
“Sachin Valvekar, 29, engineer for Hindustan Construction Company, and Kalicharan Patra, 53, supervisor from Narendra Constructions, have been booked under various sections of the Indian penal code [IPC],” police said.
