Hinduja College is one of the first colleges to start a two-year masters course in communication and journalism, which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.
“Only the university offers this course so there was limited choice for students. We will start the course from this year,” said principal T. Shiware.
The course will offer 60 seats and follow the varsity’s curriculum. There will be an entrance test and group discussion for admissions.
Institutes such as Sophia Polytechnique and Xavier’s Institute of Communication offer post-graduate diplomas, but they are autonomous.
