To strengthen the research environment, the University of Mumbai on Tuesday launched an online research portal for e-journals.

Teachers and students enrolled for research in any discipline in colleges affiliated to the university will be provided usernames to access the journals. About 6,000 national and international peer reviewed journals have been uploaded.

"Researchers must equip themselves with the latest knowledge," said professor Rajpal Hande, director, Board of University and College Department.
