Hearing the arms haul case, the special court on December 7 issued notices to the home ministry, Maharashtra ATS and authorities of the Arthur Road jail in Mumbai and the Yerwada jail in Pune to arrange for Jundal's security.

The court had issued notices to the authorities, when Jundal alleged that he was forced by the Mumbai Police to make a confessional statement in the 26/11 case.
