Woman held with pistols
A 57-year-old woman was arrested for possession of two country-made pistols and three live cartridges at her residence in Antop Hill on Wednesday.

A 57-year-old woman was arrested for possession of two country-made pistols and three live cartridges at her residence in Antop Hill on Wednesday.
The police seized the firearms and arrested Ramana Khedare under relevant sections of the Arms Act.
Khedare confessed that the weapons were hidden by her son who has been missing after being released from jail on parole last year.
“Khedare’s son was convicted in a murder case,” said DN Deokar, senior police inspector of the Antop Hill police station.
