The Italian fashion designer said that the Like A Virgin star was responsible for her fall, as she was well aware of the fact that her bullfighter's cape was constructed to be secured with a hook closure, but she insisted on it being tied, Us Magazine reported.

The 56-year-old queen of pop on the other hand had earlier explained how everybody was worried that her cape would slide off as it was quite heavy. So they decided to tie it tightly around her neck. The act entailed that she walked in like a queen, go on top of the stairs and pull the silky string. Sadly, it did not come undone. She added that she had to choose -- either to be strangled or fall with the cape. So she chose the latter.
