Versatility is this DJ’s forte. He has played thousands of gigs and held his own laying down Jacking House music with Derrick Carter, tough Tech House with Mark Knight, soulful sounds with Miguel Migs and hypnotic progressive soundscapes with Sasha. His big break came in the 1990s when he played alongside Paul Oakenfold, and he has been going strong ever since.

After his whirlwind tour in Ibiza, the DJ plans on focusing on his producition and spending more studio time. “In the next few months I plan on working on some new tracks and just give the audience what I have to offer,” says Boyd. On the commercial boom, he adds, “There is no pressure on me to be overly commercial. People love my tracks and I get to keep some sense of integrity at the same time.”
