A singer and songwriter of Spanish-Filipino descent Has sold over 100 million records worldwide, is one of the best-selling Spanish language artists of all time Collaborated with Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan in 2011 for the song, I Can Feel You Made headlines for picking a female fan from the crowd to be his date during his Mumbai concert in 2004.

There was only unconfirmed buzz so far, but it’s official now. Spanish singing sensation Enrique Iglesias has confirmed a three-city tour to India this October. With performances in Delhi, Pune and Bangalore, the Grammy Award-winner is hoping to create the same ripples he did with his 2004 concerts in Bangalore and Mumbai.

“It’s been a long time since I last toured India. I have been dying to come back and perform in front of one of the craziest crowds in the world! I’m excited and promise to give a great show and do my best so that everyone has a great time … it’s going to be awesome!” Enrique says.

With chart-topping hits such as Hero, Bailamos, Escape and Love To See You Cry, the singer has achieved a huge fan following among Indians. “I am sure pop music fans in India will be thrilled to watch Enrique perform live. For many of his younger fans, this would be the first live concert,” says Vijay Nair of Only Much Louder, the organisers.

Priced at Rs 2,500 and Rs 8,000, tickets for the show are available through Enrique’s Facebook page from today, and through Bookmyshow.com from the September 24.
