As a representative of the Global Citizen Initiative (it aims to strengthen the ability of individuals and organisations to act as global citizens in their communities, countries, and across the world), Freida Pinto is all set to host a special dinner today (January 21), at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The special guests attending this high-profile dinner will include legendary musician Bono, Oprah Winfrey, Melinda Gates and Sheryl Sandberg, among other personalities.

If sources are to be believed, Freida will also speak to the gathering about global goals and the plans ahead for this initiative, with a special focus on India. A source close to Freida says, “The dinner will be attended by major HNIs (high net worth individuals) and influencers, including Heads of States, CEOs, and other opinion leaders.”

Apparently, the aim of this dinner is to draw the attention of some of the world’s most respected minds to India, from both the point of view of future growth and to also bring to the fore the causes related to the empowerment of women around the world.
