J P Dutta's LoC is going to be the most talked about film in the weeks to come. Why, isn't almost the entire industry apart of this war film, based on the Kargil war of 1999?

The music release function in Mumbai and later in the capital, where a special screening of excerpts from the film, was held, if there was one common factor bringing people closer throughout, it was their appreciation for its melodious music.

Lyricist Javed Akhtar, who is referred to as J P Dutta's right hand, and composer Anu Malik, whom J P calls his "left hand" since he happens to be a left hander, have come up with yet another musical score that should silence all critics who blast music composers for not coming up with anything memorable in the fast techno beat music that is a fad these days.

The exhibitors in Delhi, who were given a CD and a cassette each, have been raving about the mellifluous music and the pathos in the songs which has become Javedsaab's speciality.

In Mumbai, the launch was attended by the entire starcast, including the parents of the lead actors, Kaeena Kapoor, Esha Deol, Sanjay Dutt and AbhishekBachchan.

The songs sung by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Roop Kumar Rathod have been rendered with a lot of feeling.
The buzz is that the music will appeal to the old and the young alike though the numbers are not fast paced and are soothing melodies with meaningful lyrics.
