In the 90s, singer Baba Sehgal was a rage. His songs Aja Meri Gadi Mein Baith Ja, Thanda Thanda Paani and Main Bhi Madonna were both groovy and funny. The 50-year-old, who took a break from Indian pop music but stuck to playback singing in Telugu films, is back with two singles that are creating major buzz online with a million hits across various video platforms. "God has been kind," he says when asked about the popularity his two songs, Going to the Gym and Chicken Fried Rice, have received.
Sehgal is thrilled with the response he has received for the two singles and is planning to release another single this month. "After the kind of response I have got, I have decided to come up with more songs. My next is a Punjabi song and I am pretty sure it will soon become a club anthem," he says.
