Rapper Lil Wayne hospitalised after suffering seizures mid-flight

The 33-year-old rapper and his entourage were flying from Milwaukee to California when he blacked out from the seizure.

Rapper Lil Wayne was taken to hospital after he suffered two minor seizures during a flight that forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Omaha.

The 33-year-old rapper and his entourage were flying from Milwaukee to California when he blacked out from the seizure. Wayne allegedly refused treatment when paramedics arrived to the airport.

This isn’t the first time Wayne has suffered an epileptic fit.

In 2013, Wayne, born Dwayne Carter Jr, was hospitalized several times after suffering from seizures believed to be brought on by drinking a drink that combines soda with prescription cough syrup.

He later revealed an epilepsy condition that was diagnosed in childhood.
