Rihanna scrapped a show in Sweden after she was hospitalised with a flu. The 23-year-old, fell ill and was taken to a nearby medical centre, reported Contactmusic.

The singer has been hooked up to an intravenous drip in a bid to replenish fluids, and she uploaded a snap of herself in a hospital bed on Twitter while apologising to her fans for cancelling the show.

"I am sorry to everyone who was comSing to my show in Malmo. I was so excited to perform for you all. It would have been a great time...so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I'm really disappointed I couldn't be there," Rihanna said.
