Shubha Mudgal to sing at I-Day function

Noted classical singer Shubha Mudgal will be the main attraction of Jashn-e-Jamhooriyat function to be held in Bhopal on the occasion of Independence Day.

Noted classical singer Shubha Mudgal would be the main attraction of Jashn-e-Jamhooriyat function to be held in Bhopal on the occasion of 61st Independence Day on August 15.

"The recently released audio cassette of Shubha Mudgal titled 'Swadheenta Samar Geet' has gained wide popularity. The noted singer would render the many patriotic songs which have become hit, apart from bhajans and sufiyana songs", said Shriram Tiwari, director of Swaraj Sansthan Sanchanalay which is organising the programme said.

"Books focusing on India's freedom struggle and audio cassettes containing patriotic songs would also be released simultaneously on the occasion," he said.

Jashn-e-Jamhooriyat function is organised every year by the organisation.
