Whitney Houston's final song Celebrate from the movie Sparkle has been released just one day after the Billboard Music Awards tribute to the late singer. The song also features Jordin Sparks, reports Huffington Post.
Celebrate is the last song ever recorded by the music legend, which is written by R&B crooner R Kelly.
Sparkle, a remake of the 1976 film of the same name, stars Houston as the mother of three girls who form a singing group and then face struggle with fame and drug addiction. The late star will also perform the gospel song His Eye Is on the Sparrow in the film, said Huffington Post.
Whitney Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on February 11. Her death came one day before the 54th Grammy Awards, where she was also paid tribute with Jennifer Hudson's tearful performance covering I Will Always Love You.
Latest on Whitney Houston's biopic
Whitney Houston's biopic is in the making for which singer Rihanna was considered to play the legendary singer. Though recently, the singer has denied that she will feature in the film.
"That's just rumour. I never heard anything about that," contactmusic.com quoted the 24-year-old as saying.
The speculation is thought to have stemmed from an interview in which Rihanna said she would give her "entire life" to play the performer who died in February.
"That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off. That's a huge, huge role, and whoever does it has to do a good job," she said.
