KANPUR: Violence broke out in Garhi Mukeem Khan area of Farrukhabad after a Muslim girl accused a Hindu boy of stalking her. Knives and country-made pistols were used by the rival groups in the clash on Saturday that spilled over to Sunday. About half-a-dozen people were injured. Zaki Ahmad, IG Kanpur, said police have arrested five persons, including the alleged stalker, and the situation was under control. “Police are in process of identifying the people from both the sides. Stringent action will be taken against the culprits,” he said.
