Ram Vriksh filed plea to lodge case against Mulayam, Shivpal, Akhilesh

AGRA: Jawahar Bagh violence mastermind Ram Vriksh Yadav had moved a petition in the Mathura CJM court two years ago demanding a case be lodged against Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and minister Shivpal Yadav, among others for allegedly kidnapping his guru Baba Jai Gurudev and for trying to encroach upon his ashram.

The petition was, however, dismissed by the court for want of substance.

Ram Vriksh tried filing a case with the police after Pankaj Yadav was declared Gurudev’s successor, but failed. He then moved the court and filed an application on March 26, 2014, seeking registration of a case against the SP president, Shivpal Yadav, the chief minister, Pankaj Yadav, Umakant Tiwari and Ram Pratap Singh.

Claiming to be one of the trustees of Baba Jai Gurudev Trust, Ram Vriksh alleged that Mulayam Singh and others had forcefully hospitalised Gurudev and did not allow anyone to meet him. He alleged the accused of forging documents to usurp the guru’s property worth Rs 10,000 crore.

Ram Vriksh had said Pankaj Yadav and others have kept Gurudev hostage and cremated someone else to declare Gurudev dead.

When contacted, Shivpal Yadav confirmed that Ram Vriksh had moved court against him, his brother and his nephew.
