HYDERABAD: The Benegal Committee in its recent report on revamp of Central Board of Film Certification has taken the fundamental position that, “there are two basis on which our committee decided to work one was fundamentally speaking the government has no right to interfere in the creative work of anybody and if there is any change to be made and if the decision to exercise on a part of a film.... that right should belong only to the person who has made the film. Nobody else has the right,” Shyam Benegal said.
