PANCHKULA/CHANDIGARH: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev said if Rahul Gandhi was made Congress president, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) would easily realise their dream of a “Cong Mukt’ Bharat”.

Speaking on the sidelines of a yoga camp on Sunday, Ramdev added that if Priyanka was made Congress president, the saffron party would have to struggle hard.

At a function in Chandigarh, he reiterated his thoughts on Congress and said that a lot of leaders in the party were good but Rahul as president would make BJP lazy.

When asked about the controversy surrounding the film Udta Punjab, he said: “I do not see movies. I don’t know what is flying in Udta Punjab. (Though) It is true that drug addiction is rising in the country.”

On Rahul Gandhi coming to lead a march on drugs in Jalandhar, he said, “He should be asked whether he had ever taken drugs.”

Answering questions about Modi government’s inability to bring back black money and contain rising prices, he said: “Aadarniye (Respected) Modiji works for 18 hours with honesty… One or two corruption cases have come up and concerned people had been removed too. But there is zero tolerance on corruption. The government is facing criticism over black money. I have raised the issue with Modi, Jaitley and Amit Shah…This year’s budget is quite farmers’ friendly. Some work is (still) left.”
