The Noida authority chief executive officer Amit Mohan Prasad on Thursday said five builders will soon “solve homebuyers’ issues” in their respective housing projects and “will also deliver their flats”.

“We had a meeting with builders and bankers on June 19 and we tried to help them to resolve the financial issues. Things are moving in positive direction as many banks want to help those builders. If the banks give loans to builders, they will be able to clear their land dues. Subsequently, the authority will issue completion certificate benefiting buyers,” said Prasad.

The Jaypee Group alone will deliver 1,000 flats by July end in its Aman housing project in sector 151 and Klassic and Kosmos project, he said.

“Around 2,000 homebuyers, who have flats in Shubhkamna Buildtech, Sunshine Infrawell, Antriksh Group and IVRCL Aranya project will also get relief as banks are positive to fund their projects,” said Prasad.

Antriksh Group needs fund for its two unfinished projects — Antriksh Golf View-I in Sector 78 and Antriksh Forest in Sector 77. Sunshine Infrawell Private Limited is yet to complete its Sunshine Helios project in Sector 78 .

Shubhkamna Buildtech had in 2009 launched a group housing project on plot number GH -05 B in sector 137. The project was spread over an area of 22,565 square metres along Noida Expressway. The builder needs to clear Rs 56.49 crore dues to the Noida authority.

“The builder can mortgage their unsold flats to get loan. The banks and the builders are working out technical aspects to address issues. We are tackling realty sector issues from all fronts,” said Prasad.

The meetings were held for 41 realty projects facing some sort of issues.

“Jaypee has also applied for completion and our team has visited the site. They have applied for nine towers. This will give relief to 1,000 buyers,” he Prasad.
