Noida: man rapes friend’s minor sister, held

A Sector 9 resident, Shravan, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping his friend’s 14-year-old sister and threatening her into silence with an MMS clip he made of the sexual assault.

A Sector 9 resident, Shravan, was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly raping his friend’s 14-year-old sister and threatening her into silence with an MMS clip he made of the sexual assault.

The girl’s brother had borrowed the phone of the accused to listen to a song when he saw the clip, said the police. He didn’t say anything to the friend but went home and spoke to his sister.

The girl was raped on Monday and the man had threatened to upload the MMS on the Net if she complained, said the police. The brother reported the matter to the police.
