Indian shuttlers off to bad start

India had a disappointing day in office with Sayali Gokhale and PC Thulasi crashing out of the qualifying round of the women's singles event at the Asian Badminton Championship being held at the Suwon Indoor Stadium in Korea on Tuesday.

India had a disappointing day in office with Sayali Gokhale and PC Thulasi crashing out of the qualifying round of the women's singles event at the Asian Badminton Championship being held at the Suwon Indoor Stadium in Korea on Tuesday. National champion Sayali thrashed Mendjargal Munkhchimeg of Mongolia 21-8 21-4 in the first round but lost to Zhu Jingjing of China 21-17 21-13 in the next round.
